Ok well try accessing www.sdsym.com and you will get 500 errors, DNS errors and what not. I cannot ftp into my account.
The only way to access my site is via the IP which is 64.191.3.99.
So I have a strange problem right there. I can FTP into my account with the IP, I can view my site with the IP, but who wants to do that when I have the domain sdsym.com...?
I registered my domain name with godaddy.com
So my question is, who's problem is this? I didn't do anything to cause it, is it the host, or is it the place I bought the domain from...or is it just a mystery?
If you need any more information, please just ask here, I'm fuming because I haven't got a reply from my host about this for hours, they aren't even on AIM at the moment, and haven't been since this problem occured.
Thanks for any help...:)
I hope someone can shed some light on the situation, and on my day :( because these kind of things bring me down, especially it being a good day, I come home to find my other 3 admins moaning and fuming about the site being down for 24 hours!

How long ago did you register that domain name? It can take anywkere from 2-4 days for domain to completely propagate through the root nameservers.

Did you set the nameservers correctly?

Registered it about 3 weeks ago, it was working 2 days ago, but now things have stopped working...
I didn't modify any nameservers.

Who is doing the name service for that domain? You need to contact them and have them fix the DNS records or the server.

It seems very likely that your nameserver is down, as it probably couldn't be an ISP problem, as I'm also having problems accessing the site.

My guess would be your host, but it's possible that Godaddy is acting as your nameseerver for this domain. Let me check the 'whois' records.

Nocster has had a few network and dns issues today...
If you'll try to open your support page that the support script should have sent you, you will see an error...
Last I was told they are working on the problems...
You might try to AIM BurstCSM..
