[fixed] PM: Syncronize forum index new PM indicator and read threads ?

Hi,
it seems now VB is able to keep track of the PM which were read or not individually. If I'm correct this is a new feature.

Could we have the Personal message forum index new message indicator syncronized with the read / not read messages ?

Right now if I go in PM and read a message, it still says I have 1 new message on the forum index altough the new message indicator is off once i'm inside the PM box if I read the message already.
Would be cool if it would show "no new message".

OK, I'll have a think about this one. The thing is, 'new' messages are different to 'unread' messages.

are you saying new means that if someone logs into board, never goes into pm section, leaves and comes back an hour later that they are no longer new? This i would think is not good.. new should = unread.

Exactly what we meant.
It will always show new until they are read, considering each message individually.

PMs are handled like the rest of the board in terms of how it handles being new. Just drop the "new, but read" image, and you'll be fine :) If it's read, force the "read" image whether or not it's new. If it's old, but unread, then use the old one.
