1.4----> 2.0 templates variables question

Ok, I decided to redo my site design with 1.4 so I'll have all the time to wait for 2.0.

Since I will redo every single template and this is lot of work, I would like to know if the 2.0 templates will use the same variables as 1.4 ?

So all I will have to do when 2.0 comes out, is convert the new features specific templates and add the new features manually in the current 1.4 ones.

Hi Benj,

I believe that most of the variables used in the 1.1.4 templates are also used in 2.0... but obviously there will be a lot of new variables that you can either build into your existing templates manually, or allow the installation routine to overwrite the 1.1.4 templates with the next versions.

I'll wait to see how goes the evolution of 2.0, but know I can now undertake my site rework and integrate later separatly the 2.0 variables :)
