View Full Version : [on hold] Weird logging in bug

I've noticed that when I visit the demo, after having been logged in before, it thinks I'm not logged in (the boxes are down at the bottom for me to log in through), but it tells me "Welcome back" and them someone else's username.

This happened yesterday, and again today. Somehow I'm able to view the other person's PMs as well. I logged out right away when this happened yesterday, but it's happening again right now (as Woody123).

Update before I post - I just clicked on the PM list to see if this was the same as yesterday, and I was able to send a PM to my username, and when I got back to the index.php page I was fully logged in (the boxes weren't there anymore).

AHHHHHH!!! This is sounding weird, since I'm trying stuff out as I post, but I just logged out as Woody123, and now (I only logged out, nothing else, didn't read a board, or anything) it thinks I'm fquist.

Anyway, thought I should let you know.

Same Here when I first visited the demo! :(

I was logged in as "Menno"

But now its normal.
So was it fixed?

When i try to log-in, i fill in the form, but it just puts me back to the You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: page

I made a change in the sessions management to prevent this happening. Can you confirm if this is still happening?

Hm.. this might explainb why I can't log in anymore.. the board must be confused about who is who now.

Strange indeed :)

Update:

I cleared cookies and visited again.
This time I am "Menno" again. :(

It's sort of still happening... I got to the index.php page and wasn't logged in as anyone, then I logged in using my uname/pword and it just brought me back to the index page.

It listed me as being logged in under the who's online part, but it still didn't show me as being logged in to myself (the boxes were still there to login).

i had this problem from 8pm Thursday till 2pm Friday (I'm going by GMT) but now it seems to work ok

Yeah, it's working for me now.
