This is nothing major, just wanted to inform you that the copyright notice hasn't been updated for 2.2.6 ;)

Still says:
Copyright ©2000, 2001, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited
no 2002 :D

Was this updated in the new 2.2.6 release? I changed it on my board anyway.

no 2002 :D Awww... Why won't they simply take the easy way out and make it dynamic? No more worrying it's correct.

It's correct here and at vb.org. Wish they would fix this.

I really can't understand what you people actually care about. The copyright of vBulletin is to Jelsoft. It does not affect you. Why do you care so much to start multiple threads about it?

Because we want it all posh&proper? Yes, the Brits have rubbed off on us. :p

Most companies throughout the world would boast about having customers that care about their products so much - you instead step in and imply people must be nuts if they "care" about vBulletin.

Boredom ?

But seriously, in the UK it is important to have correct copyright dates - not that anyone would dispute it in the real world.

I'm sorry you don't like my attitude. Feel free to add me to your ignore list. It will not hurt my feelings.

At any rate people caring about a product is one thing but to create multiple threads about an incorrect copyright date is an entire other.

If I'm not mistaken, there's been one thread for every release since V2.2.2, that makes 5 threads total. Let's be fair, that's not many, nor is it illogical, since they each refer to a new version. If you want to talk about waste, as I assume you feel these threads amount to, let's have a Dev in here and explain to us once and for all a) why it won't be made dynamic, which would eliminate the problem, and b) why they haven't fixed it already. It's one change a year unless they do go for dynamic, and look, 2002 is almost halfway over already. Sheesh!
