hi,

im a noob...

It is possible using another table outside vbulletin database on mysql for authentication?because i already have my own user database and i want to integrate it with vbulletin forum.

Thanks. It's certainly possible, but it would require hacking the code. I expect this would be a very difficult hack to write and in any event I'm not sure it would be wise to do this since it would affect your ability to upgrade to future versions of vB.

If you are interested in pursuing this, you can make a hack request at vbulletin.org and see if anyone is interested. Good luck!
