Tree-like forum display

Has this been confirmed/suggested for vB3?

I'd like to see a branching kind of forum display, so that it's easily visible which forums are the parents and which are the children. The way it is now, when you try to show any forums deeper than 2, it gets confusing as to which are sub-forums, and which are sub-sub-forums, and so on.

I realize that this wouldn't be an issue for most people, but it seems like something that would add a bit of clarity to the overall design.

Do you mean threaded? Like the Windows Explorer directories? I'm assuming since we'll have threaded view as an option for the posts, a thread-like view for the forums aswell isn't too far-fetched.

Yeah, that's what I mean.

You're right -- it doesn't seem like it would be a big step to display forums with the same kind of branching that the threaded view is going to have. It would complement the threaded view quite nicely.
