Moving the mySQL database.

i need to move my database along with all my files to our new server, i read the guide but im still a little unclear on how to get the database, ive never used phpmyadmin, and i dont have telnet acess.

the owner said he added me (he owns the vB, i just do allt he work like hacking and upgrading and such) i was logged out when i came the other day, ill have him re add me if im not on the list anymore. he comes online around 5 :), tho i still have acess to .org Oo, there are two diff forms for each site i asume, corect?

Thanks. Unfortunately the only realible method of backing up and restoring a database is with shell access via telnet or ssh. The procedure is here:

If you don't have shell access, then the best option for you is to ask your web host to m,ke the backup for you. Hopefully you're moving to a host that does allow shell access, otherwise you'll need to ask the new host to restore the db.

im moving to a server that will let me run as root, dedicated, its sitting beside me right now =D, i hope he gets on, havent seen him in a week and i got 3 gigs left for this month :(
