I want a site designed in PHP, with all the functionalities of AuthorsDen.Com

It also has to be designed much nicer and a better look and feel.

Not really. There are many free portals which already do most of the things, just neess to be modified and a few features added.

yea, but they'll have to be modified so much that it'd be eaiser to start from scratch

Your not making a quilt, you cannot expect to be able to take a bunch of pieces, sow them together, and have a high quality blanket.

It's sad, but I'm seeing more and more of this mentality.

I don't care how a programmer decides to do it, as long as it gets done right. BUT, I am not willing to pay an army of programmers, which I cannot aford. I am looking for ONE programmer, that is all.

i'd do it but it wud take a while as in ages, and even a lone programmer like myself wud need to be vastly compensated to do it.

u will definately need a company to do it. u dont pay per programmer, u just pay the team to do it and they will.

its like programming vB on ur own, u need a team.

It can be done by one.. just like what was stated would take some time, for the most part it looks simple and self explanatory.. but to do it once, it will take a lot of time.
