I just tried posting a message on my board, and it said "The administrator has specified that users may not post more than one message every 60 seconds". Admins should be exempt from Flood Check, like they were on UBB. Just my humble opinion.

Thats a good/bad situation. The more "exempt" we are from these things the less we can see how what effects our visitors. If something is a problem for you then its propably a problem for visitors as well. I think we should urge caution when making things we are exempt from so we can see what they see :)

Very true, and I agree with you to a large degree. Maybe I'm a control freak, but I just don't like being told what I can and can't do on my own board. Does that make any sense :p.

Oh yes it does :) I think it would be nice to allow us to be exempt, but after I got that error a few times I learned I should make it a lower number :)

From my boards:

Is there a way for you to make the flood control not apply to mods? Or not applys to mods in "Comedy Central" only?

Is it possible to make it an option for moderators as well?

I will add an option in the control panel to allow you to choose whether the admins and mods are subject to the floodcheck restrictions.
