i was told beta site was gonna be opened this month is this true. love a glimpse of vb3 :)

A beta might not give the desired impression, especially if it starts acting up. :)

Personally I don't think you'll see the beta board for at least a few more weeks. Though if a developer wants to come along and tell me otherwise then feel free :)

At the moment the beta board is still in a state of chaos; not everything is working and the layout is messed up in a lot of areas. And it is often broken as developers make changes so it wouldn't really be wise to open it just yet.

Has a feature list, however tentative, been posted somewhere? I've seen plenty of discussion about what people would like, but don't recall seeing a "here's what we've picked to include in version 3" list yet.

Also, although I know these things are extremely variable, is there an ETA on version 3? Nothing exact, certainly, but something to help us plan. 3 months? 6 months? 9 months?

There is no feature list as yet. Some of the features "leaked" can be found here (http://vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=275814&highlight=leaked#post275814) and here (http://vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=230845&highlight=leaked#post230845) among other places.

Freddie has previously said a beta in June is possible which would put a final release in late summer/early fall-ish.
