i recently removed one of my mods. he was in the super mod group and was not a mod under any specific forum. to remove him i accessed his profile via my admin cp and updated his user group. a day later he posts in my mod forum. i double checked his user group and the associated group permissions. he shouldn't have access. then i checked his "[Edit forum access for username]" thing and found that there was custom access set up for him for my mod forum (checked yes instead of default). i did not manually set this access, i have always relied on group permissions. so then i checked my other mods and found that all of my mods have the same custom forum permissions. i have never set permissions on a "per user" basis like this.

erm, anyways, this didn't seem right so i'm posting about it. sup?

I think I read that this permission-field actually needs to be manually reset when removing a moderator. Call it a bug or an oversight, but I hope/expect/demand (take your pick) that it's corrected in v3.
