Changin Nicknames

Is there an option for letting people change their nicknames without re-registering?

Short Answer: No

Long Answer: This was suggested and noted a few months ago, although lots of us didn't think it was a good idea. Currently, if someone needs their username changed, we can change it in the control panel manually as an admin. (Which is what we've done in the few legitimate cases for name change. ie: person used their full name not realizing it would show up on the boards.) If you do a search for "changing usernames" you should be able to pull up the threads about this issue.
