hosts.deny -allow question

Hi,
If I setup hosts.deny to ALL: ALL, will it also prevent daemons (mysql, apache, ftp) from working ?
Will it prevent visitors from visiting the site hosted on my server ?


Will this be enough in hosts.allow:

ALL: xxx.xxx.*.*

(xxx.xxx.*.* being my Ips.....)
