O.k. some users cannot cut and paste the confirmation URL, and their activation fails.

Can I activate them myself?

I tried modify user from "awaiting activation" to "Registered" and it didn't work. I looked up mysql to try out their passwords, and no go.

Currently, I delete such users, and Add them manually.

Is there an easier way?

If you go to their registration record in the Control Panel, you can change their user status from "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation" to "Registered" manually.

Thanks Jim, but that's what I did. The registration record, in version 1.1.4 is "User Group" field in the user info/registration menu when you chose "edit", right?

If so, and that's how it was intended to work, then it maybe a bug, because it doesn't work. I've done those steps, and tried to log in as those users afterwards to confirm that it works, but it didn't?
