I'm locked out!

Ok, i was in my control panel and i removed myself as the mod of a forum (i'm an admin why do i need to be be listed as a mod?) and as soon as i did it, i can't login, i can edit my profile, but if i try to login to either the control panel or the forum, it won't let me. I created a new user and i can get into the forum, but i don't know whats wrong and i just got done setting this up, ive probably put at least 5 hours into this thing, and i really, really, really don't want to have to reinstall it.

I think getadmin is still broken. Please carefully read the following thread with the fix:

ok, i looked around in my directorys, i have no getadmin.php, so i took the code in that post and made a new .php file and uploaded it to my admin directory and it wouldn't load, so i put it in the main directory and it loaded, but when i entered my username and hit enter, it said there was a DB error. Any help will be appreciated. Keep in mind, i don't know much of what i'm doing, so you'll have to go into detail, our networks scripts guy installed it and i havent been able to get ahold of him yet.

In the FULL distribution of vB is a folder named exstras. In this folder you will find getadmin.

THIS is the file you want to hack. After you get back in to your admin via getadmin you must remove this file because it represents a security risk.

ok, i tried, i got the file from my host, the original acts like it works, but doesn't, the other one, that was on that page gives me a "slight" db error message, any ideas?

ok, i figured it out myself, i changed all the 6's for usergroup to 2, uploaded, admited myself, and then re-added the admin group, made myself one, changed the registered group back to no CP control, and everything appears to be ok. One thing though, it clears usertitles until they post again.
