Which logs to explore in priority ?

Hi, there are lots of logs generated.
I don't plan to explrore them ALL.

But which are the one you would suggest to check periodically to detect:

-System problems
-Boot reports
-Scan and probes

Personally, I don't look at any of my log files.... well except my Apache server logs will I analize to report on traffic.

System log files are great things to look at when you are having problems, however, there isn't much need to review them on a regular basis if things are running fine.

(Of course some Unix Sys Admins might disagree with me here, but anyway... :))
