This forum has a lot of friendly folks
who have been extremely helpful to
me, especially as a novice.

Although my hosting company is
very familiar with VBulletin, they
are not in the business of managing
my VBulletin Upgrades and tweaks.

I'd like to know if there are any folks
who are extremely experienced in
VBulletin, and would be willing to
take a phone call from me to walk
me through upgrading my VBulletin
to my website. I need to learn this
stuff . . . instead of relying on others
to do it for me all the time.

If this is something you'd be willing
to do, please email me your
telephone number and the best time
for me to call.

Thanks,

David

It's actually very simple... just download the zip file from the members area and FTP the contents to your server. Run the admin/update.php script and click on the links for each step. Then go in via FTP again and delete that file. That's it.

Still . . .
I'd like to have a mentor talk this
through with me on the phone.

Last time I tried an FTP, it got a
little messy with written instructions,
because the file were not where they
were supposed to be on the server.
