Well they kept quiet about this. An annoucement probably a good plan?

well.. i applied. Why you requring authorization on a commission based sale? never could understand that.

no it is not cj's fault, it is up to vbulletin to decide if the affiliate is auto accepted or not.

The only thing you really have to loose if inappropriate sites putting up your banners if you think this tarnishs the brand name. I think that is very unlikely to be the case and they could get the banners if they wanted to do that anyway. I would set it for auto accept, otherwise you might get some people sign up and then never bother to come back because they couldn't add the html straight away.

20% is very generous though, well done, better than "those other people" :)

I just signed up with cj yesterday and one of the first banners I chose to display was vbulletins because of the affiliate program.

Let's hope I make enough to cover the cost of buying vbulletin (only purchased vbulletin the day before:))
