Hi There
My forum's db ıs almost 90 mb, and when I check the each ıtems, the largest item is searchindex whıch is 32 mb. What is this searchindex thing? and if empty this searchindex, will it be a problem with the forum?

If you empty the searchindex then the search finction will not longer work reliably on your forums.

I got the same problem. After installing the attachments to files hack the db was 15 MB smaller. However, the searchindex is still over 10 MB in size.
Could you explain us, what it does and maybe bring up an solution to get the db smaller
regards

The searchindex table is an index of all the searchable words on your forums. This is the key to the speediness of vB's search functions.
