Eva2000, about Webmin, mysql security..

Hi Eva2000 :)
I know you are using webmin too, I thought you might answer a few questions about how you set it up with mysql.

Here we go:

1) In you vbulletin config file you set a user and a password.
Which user did you set ? Root ? Another user ? what permission did you grant him in webmin "users permissions" setting of the mysql admin area (all ? Select table data, insert table data, udpate table data, reload grants.......) ?

2) in my webmin users permissions I have several users:
2 root, 2 anonymous. Is it safe to delete the anonymous ?

3) Did you set anything in rest of webmin mysql:

Database Permissions
Host Permissions
Table Permissions
Field Permissions

Or did you only set a persmission for the user of 1) ?

well my host, rackspace setup webmin 0.81 on my server with the mysql module, so i really haven't a clue how or what. I do know that mysql on my server is done through root though.

who's your web host ?
