There are lots of hints around the forums, you just have to look harder :) We won't be giving much else major away until the beta release.
I'm fairly sure 2.2.3 will be released as a final version.

As long as it's not purple! I think a dark blue would look nice. :)

I don't mind what color the boards are, just as long as the button set isn't purple! ;) Most people will just use the default buttons. But when they customize their boards colors, the purple buttons can just look horrible against what they've chosen. Maybe something that will fit with any color scheme. :)

I really think it does not matter what colours the new versions wil be .. as long as we can change them easily through the admin control panel. And for the images, only upload the new ones and do not overwrite the old ones, that way you keep the current button set you use.
As for newer versions altering the look of vBulletin.com :) cool! I bet they will leave in vB2.style from us to choose from (suggestion) :P
vB3 is gonna rock!

Word to that! :D Photoshop is sooooooo easy if all you want is change the color.
But then... some people might not have Photoshop laying around. :(
My suggestion to webmasters who haven't already done so:
Learn Photoshop! It's an absolute must if you want to be a all-around webmaster.

I agree with you 100%
I first draw out my stuff on paper, then I run through photoshop .. during these two steps, I grow the site in my head and eventually I end up using dreamweaver for draft design and ultraedit as editor to tweak the php/html/perl :)
But photoshop is a must, (well, if you can not affort it, paint shop pro will do too)

I heard it was sometime toward the end of this month...? How do you apply for beta testing , if it were allowed.
Floris
Thu 7th Mar '02, 12:09pm
You do not apply for beta testing I think, they can just use the 2.2.3 database :) so you can login using your forum l/p. (cookie) (hence, not for the login popup box!)

If or when beta.jelsoft is opened, the login box will be taken away for the vB 3 folder, but left everywhere else ;) There will be no need to enter a username and password for customers.
There's no need to apply as anyone can come and browse/register.

I'm pretty sure it will be opened - but I don't know for sure so I didn't want to say it would be.
