Could future versions of vB maybe have the method used to fetch this image from vbulletin.com changed. vB.com has been slow for me tonight, and its anoying as the admin cp doesn't fully load until its downloaded this.

this goes for the javascript frame at the top as well, possibly an option in the admin panel to turn off "new version notifications"?
