A strange bug? Help please!

Well I got vB and I got it running but I'm having two very annoying bugs!!

1. When transulting the wording for the Preview buttun it posts insted of showing the Preview ????

2. A thread is never shown if it has replies??? Only first posts are shown and when a reply is added the thread is no longer there??

Please help me as soon as possible.............

1. That preview button is a know problem, and I will be changing it into a check box in the next version. That will make it easier to translate. In the mean time, if you edit newreply.php line 66 and newthread.php line 62 to reflect your new setting on the button.

2. Could you post the URL to your forum if possible. I would like to see it first hand to help me figure out what it is.

Thanks I solved the first problem now I'm still having the second...

Now could the problem be related to translation?? Translating to Arabic requires a dramatic change since all the English characters are changed to Arabic unlike other languages that adopt some English words that are recognized by them Arabic does not use any English at all.... So could it be something like the first problem??

I really like the Preview button. I agree that a check box would be a nice option but I like having the ability to pick and choose each time I post a message instead of having it on or off all the time.

I agree with parker I think it should stay the way it is and just make a note in the manual about it its only a couple of changes no big deal.....

Now I was wondering as I seed Arabic uses no English at all so this is another problem well not a problem but a request actually. Is there a way to change the time symbols AM/PM? And the names of the months?? That would be grate......

I also hope to get a response on the thread thing soon....

another vote in favor of keeping the preview button. the check boxes are just a PITA

OK - I'll keep the preview button as it is :)

Unfortunately, the AM/PM and months are hard coded into PHP - there is not much I can do about it.

I am still looking into the thread problem. What versions of PHP/Mysql/web server are you using, and what OS are you on?
