View Full Version : SUG: Print Yesterday/Today instead of xx-xx-xxxx

I created a hack for this feature at vb.org, but it would be nice to have an integrated, more elegant version of it in vB 3.0.

Basically, the idea is, under the "Last Post" column, you'd see "Today, 3:34 PM" instead of "2-21-2002, 3:34 PM". Same thing goes for Yesterday, and it works off of the user's own timezone settings. Why would you want this? Because it's easier for users to read and digest.

Anyway, I posted this here, because it's not 100% cut-and-dry perfect, and I'm afraid that it won't ever be fully without some forethought into the whole design of the system. It would be something to think about for vB 3.0.
