This is a non-commercial offer, nothing goes in our pocket and we are not a hosting company. We have aldready someone using vBulletin interested by this offer.
So, here is the idea: Let's rent a dedicated server for five sites and share
the costs.
(more than five sites would take too much resources)
Here is the server we can rent (located in the US):
PIII 1GHz
256 Ram
40GB HDD
50GB Transfer
32 IPs
Since we're going to take the legal responsibility of the server, we would like to keep the admin responsibilities, at least for now.
Our offer, for $45 per month and $40 setup fees :
- (Site installation - if wanted)
- About 5 GB of HDD
- 9 GB of transfer
- More than one IP in the case you need so.
- 1 MySQL DB
- Unlimited emails, emails services, ...
- FTP services (but beware to the total transfer)
- Shell account & anything else, as long as it doesn't take too much resources
(system & bandwidth), is legal, don't compromise the security, and is approved
by the admin (me :).
We believe it's more than any commercial hosting company could offer you for the
same price.
Since it isn't a commercial offer but shared costs and liabilities, you
understand that we depend on the hosting company for Quality of Service, but we
have done our homework and they come very well recommended.
