PDF of the manual?

It would be great if the vB manual was available in PDF form for offline viewing. If it is then sorry for posting, I couldn't find a thread on it because the search engine rejected my "pdf" query because it wasn't more than three chars long.

No it's not, and yes it would be a good thing. At this time only the 'Template Reference' guide and 'Relationship Diagram and Database Schema' are available in PDF format.

Fortunatly I am not on dailup, but cable (whoei) so I can take all the time I want to go and read it, follow the links and check stuff out. But I can imagine dailup users wanting this offline.

Even though I am on cable, I do wish I could put the manual on my backup.zip to have a complete package (along with my online files and vbulletin.sql database back and other blah.txt)

Here is a simple hint...

Load the page and click "File -> Save As". I did this for the entire thing and have it stored on my hard drive in its full purple glory for reading whenever I want.

I do admit, having it as an indexed and searchable PDF file or even available as a CHM file (should really do both) would be nice but not available at this time. Maybe for 3.X.
