Changing from phpBB to vBulletin

Is there a way to upgrade the database that I have with phpBB to use with vB? I hope that I wouldn't have to close the forums that I have then make all my members sign back. Are there way to change to vB software and keep the info that they phpBB database has? Thank you.

If you look at www.vbulletin.org there should be an unofficial importer available.
