Okay, was reading the license info on the owned license preparing to send it to purchasing and came up with this question...

I will need to run a regular board for my user, probably using something very close to the standard templates. I will need to create one forum in which each of the threads will be pulled into .shtml or .asp pages that contain specific product information. I will pull the thread in via an iframe.

In this particular forum, I will want to get rid of most of the header, and not allow the creation of new threads (moderator only).

Does this mean I will need to run a second instance (and therefore second license)?

No, just as a normal vbulletin board, you can create a category and just link to the category "link" in your iframe, then it will display whatever forums are in that category; or just link straight to the forum forum link in your iframe.

As for "moderators" only can post, you can control that through your permissions

there is a admin demo on this site. check it out.

I was particularly concerned about wanting a different style or templates for one particular forum, vs. the others I will set up.

As always, your help is appreciated. Nice to know the product is so very well supported.

Yes, you can designate a style template for each forum. When creating the forum, you can choose this in the options.
