I've decided to take security to a higher level. On our server I've installed a self-signed certificate on an "unused" domain in order to do administration tasks under the hood of ssl. Several things will be moved there that require logging in and/or is used for administration tasks. For example, phpMyAdmin is already running there and webmail will be moved there.
Now I wondered about vB. What I would like to do is move the forum/admin directory there as well, but that might cause some trouble with cookies I guess. Is there a way to do this? Can symlinking be a solution? And if so, how would I do this? What problems might occur?
