I'm really getting desperate... I'm not a MySQL or PHP nerd, but I've had my forum up and running since July 2001 (www.dtourism.com) and it's not until a few weeks ago that I started receiving everyday tens (and sometimes hundreds) of "MySQL error" emails sent by vB.
Now it's getting really serious and it's almost impossible to connect to my forum anymore, and I don't know how to resolve this problem :(
The most common error message is :
Warning: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2) in /hsphere/local/home/dtourism/dtourism.com/forums/admin/db_mysql.php on line 38
I looked at line 38 of this PHP file, but I don't think what I should do... Also, what kills me is that everything has been running perfectly until all these errors suddenly started recently... Any idea on what's going on?
Some clues that might help :
- I noticed that my server load is ALWAYS very high (over 2.5)
- My server config can be seen at http://www.dtourism.com/sysinfo/
