vB installation question (lite vs full)

Hello, I just installed vB lite on my server to test for compatibility.

I currently use a competitors software, but have admired vB for years.

I was totally overwhelmed at the ease of installation and was wondering if the full version uses the EXACT same setup and is just as easy?

The mySQL setup was so easy I couldn’t believe it. I have been “trying” to get my current software to take advantage of it, but have failed.

Is the full version just as easy to install as the lite version, or is there more to it?

I have never tried the Lite version, but installation of the registered version just couldn't be easier.

The installation requires you to fill in several values of config.php, then it tries to establish a connection to the database, then populates it with new values, and that's it!

It took me under 1 minute (literally) from start to finish to completely set it up.

If PHP and MySQL on your server work, then you should have the same results.

The full version is almost exactly the same as the lite version as far as installation; the only major difference is there are more steps to click through in the full version. If you already have a completed config.php you have finished the hardest part of installation.
