Do you usually get phpmyadmin on a shared server?

Our host (a small company) is resistant to the idea of installing phpmyadmin. Although I know a lot of people here use it, I was wondering if it's common for hosts to install it, or allow it to be installed, on shared servers.

Its a standard for web interfaces for MySQL....

Its helpful to give users that access, and really no reason not to give your clients this....

i've always had it...except with crappy hosts

so u kinda get the drift...;)

I've never heard of a major host not providing this tool.
