OK, the problem is my host doesn't allow things like images in the cgi-bin, so the images folder has to be placed on the root of my virtual server. Is there a simple line of code or something that tells vBulletin where the images actually are? If so where is it.. I've had a hunt through and can't find it? :(

So your host is running PHP as a cgi? Are you on a *nix server or a Windows based server?
You're sure you can't upload the vBulletin files into a web-accessible directory? It would make your life a LOT easier...

It's a unix server, and yeah the host uses a seperate server for cgi, php etc, and it a real pain!!
And what's more they won't allow anything other than cgi/php etc to run from the cgi-bin meaning html, images etc in there wont work :(
