In the my.cnf files there are lines for:
Uncomment the following if you are using BDB tables
and
Uncomment the following if you are using Innobase tables
Just curious if vB uses either of those table types and if I should uncomment those entries?
Thanks!

vB uses mainly MyISAM tables except the sessions table which uses HEAPS table types

Ok, cool ... another question for ya :-)
I'm sure you get sick of people asking for your configuration advice, but how does this look for this site

Warning: I just restared mysql 8 minutes ago with these settings, so you might want to wait until tomorrow when there's some load on the server before giving advice on my settings. Needless to say, it's a very high traffic server.
I'll attach my variables output as a handy-dandy txt file

I'm seeing that with my new configuration for MySQL I'm getting a lot more slow queries ... and my queries/second has dropped about 60% as compared to what I got with the basic my-large.cnf configuration.
I'm going to switch back and see if things speed back up. I think I tried to change to many things at once.
