View Full Version : Hows PHP 4.1 doing for you?

Just curious what experiences people have had after installing PHP 4.1? On paper it looks great, but I've read and heard that there are quite a few bugs. Have any of you vB users noticed problems? I'd like to get it on my Windows box, but would love to hear how it's doing for those who have installed it.

No problems I have noticed here - seems a bit faster on my RedHat box.

Running wonderfully for me :)

It does use a bit more memory, though.

I just got it installed at home last night. So for so good. I haven't been running it long enough to really tell a difference, but vB seems to be working just fine under it. :)

I'm on Windoze :). Found a couple of bugs, but nothing critical (except for the faulty ISAPI  )

Remember, when it comes to "bugs" on windows, there are no faults, only features......

Running fine, although I needed to install the latest CVS snapshot of APC.

How's that working? I had APC running with 4.0.6 but experimented with some other caches and had some problems. I know they are still working on some stuff with classes in the current CVS, so I was wondering if it's stable enough right now... also did you compile it directly into PHP?

Thanks :)

Its working fine right now. I had it running with 4.0.6 and the latest CVS running now with 4.1.0. No problems at all :)

I didn't compile it in, did a dynamic extension.
