Firstly, I just installed VBulletin on the boards I administrate a few days ago, and it's excellent, kudos to everyone invovled in it's development. Anyways...
I was wondering about the possibility of a smart flood control system.
An administrator could set, lets say, 10 posts within 5 minutes. And if a user exceeded that limit, all posts made by that user, within that 5 minute time limit would be deleted. Then maybe the user would also be banned for an hour, or longer.
Maybe this feature is useless, since there is the prune feature, but having an automated system might be nice.
Also, I've seen some previous discussion about password brute forcing protection. Are there plans to add some kind of brute force protection in later versions?
