Rather than getting lost in the many spam e-mails we all get, it would be a nice feature for the administrator to send a PM to all of the users. I have my forum setup so they get a popup window, so this can act as an administrative alert. For example, I could even just PM those online, notify them that server is going to be rebooted at XX time. This will keep them from losing a documentary they may be getting ready to hit "post" and then the board is gone!
So, two suggestions:
1) PM all (from admin area only)
2) PM online (from admin area only) and possibly put a time frame on it, i.e. from 9:00pm to 9:30pm to catch those that come online after the PM is generated.
Just ideas for version 12! :)
