I am having problems with importing members and messages in the forum from UBB to my vBulletin forum and I was curious as to whether or not I allow HTML in a members signature could have anything to do with this? It appears that it downloads about 800 members ( I have over 11,000) and then it chokes and gives me database errors.
I also have additional stuff that is added a members profile because of this too. There is HTML code in their member.cgi file so I am wondering if this could be a problem too. There are a couple of items that I have added that put an extra "yes" in their profile too.
It does the same thing with messages that have been posted and this appears to be the ones that have HTML in their signatures.
Does the import script only allow certain predefined information to be passed on to the database or could it be written to import all that is in the messages and the member information files or just ignore that which isn't used in the database for vBulletin?
Also, does this program allow you to use HTML in it at all?
I have the option set in my control panel to allow HTML but it still says that HTML is off in the Forum Rules: section.
Thanks,
Parker
