Edit: This style has been updated for vBulletin Version 2.2.5.
If you like the style of the UBB, but don't want to kill your server with it, then this is the theme for you! ;) Included is a complete style based on the UBB and OpenTopic as well as it's accompanying images.
View Demo: http://www.coldplayonline.com/files/infopop_vb_style.gif

Step Three
- Via FTP, upload the 'infopop' images folder and all its contents to your vB images directory. (ex: /forums/images/infopop).

I'm sure anyone converting from UBB to vB would want it. That way their users will have a style they're familiar with. And anyone who just likes the UBB style.
Thanks for the response! I'm glad you all like it. :)

Just to let you know Craig I'm not using it for my private test board (instead of the green button set of yours I was going to use), and it looks fabulous!
I can't let you see it because it's private ;), but it really looks great! :)

Sorry for the downtime. Per Infopop's request, I have removed the UBB graphics from the style and now include a button set made with the vB Graphics Dev Kit.
There have also been a few errors fixed in the templates as well a few other updates.
Thanks again for all the comments! :)

That would be me :)
Anyway, it looks good.. I have a few suggestions though.
The bbimage(or whatever) needs to be over to the left more.
Drop the Browsing table to the bottom.
That's about it. I know we can do it in the templates, but I just think it would be nice if you did it for us ;)
I dunno, what are your thoughts?

Well, in the current UBB 6.2.0 Beta Release, I beleive it's at the top by default, so I'll probably leave it there. Although, I should change it from "Currently Browsing The Boards" to "$bbtitle Recent Visiters". ;)

Yeah in the beta (which I ran for a few days and holy crap it sucked!) the recent browsers was at the top, but you can also place it at the bottom.
Bring that sucker down! :)

Looking good. I have the theme you released before on my test forum and its fun. Although there was some problem regarding table widths. If I put in say 80% in the CP in both fields, the top tables like Whos online etc, would be aligned to the left, while the content tables would be center. See pic. If I could fix this, than this would be great, but so far I cant think of why its doing it. Im thinking perhaps its due to some hacks and template mods I did thats fubaring it up.

Does your UBB style work for version 2.2.2? It's awesome. Also how would I move the currently browsing forums to the bottom, which template is that?

Boss - Yes it does work for version 2.2.2
I just finished uploading it to my test board (which is 2.2.2) and it works fine. The only thing that you have to do is make sure to click "Yes" on that option that says "Use style file even if it is for a different version of vBulletin" when importing the file.
To move the currently browsing forums to the bottom you have to go to your forumhome template and then find this:
$loggedinusers
and move it where ever you want. For example, if you wanted it below the forumlist, then simply move it below the $forumbits varible like so:
$forumbits
$pminfo
$loggedinusers

From the same place you downloaded the first one (in my first post in this thread). ;)
But I think I'll be updating it again for 2.2.2 to fix a few more bugs I've found and that a few people have pointed out to me.

Great work Craig!
I installed your template on my board as an alternative to the default template. Users like this Infopop template more. There is a little problem, though:
One user browses the board with Netscape 4.7 under Windows ME. The poor fellow complains about post content being too wide. It is hard to read, since the lines do not wrap at the end of the window, and he has to scroll left and right all the time. He says that the main and sub pages on the forum are fine, it's just the post contents that are a problem. I had him switched to the Default template, and it works for him.
Any idea on what may be wrong with text wrapping for that browser, and how to fix it?
Thank you!

Top stuff Craig.. :)
Is it ok for us to edit the template as long as we don't re-distribute it..? I'm fairly certain I can get the templates more UBB like. I'm hoping to use this to replicate a past template I used on UBB..

Sure, no problem. My vB License Lease has actually expired, so I don't have access to new versions to update the template. I think it's still at about v2.2.3. So if anybody wants to update it for 2.2.9, feel free too. :)

I think the Who's Online code is screwy. Its taking border color and using it as the color for the backround as well. I cant have this, being as the style Im working on has a light grey border, and dark blue catbg colors. Anyone know a work around?

I have installed this style for my new board.
However, i just found out that one image is missing that is lock_icon.gif.
Also, if someone can provide me with the actual button sets for this style which are similiar to the real infopop, it'd be great.
Craig, can you send ur original style set with the original buttonsets to me ??
Thanks much

Okay, the actual style or theme UBB type is done by this forums admin....take a look at it here :

Now, if someone can do that ( exact same ) and release it ??
Thanks
