problem with new templete

ok i want to make a new templete that will be the default templete that loads up. I have made the html and entered some variables but when i try and load the templet all i see it a blank page? any ideas?

Without any more info than this it will be difficult to help. Perhaps you should tell us exactly what you've done.

ok what i need is a tuturial on how to make a new templet the first page taht you go to when you type the address of the board. Also how to include php variables into this templete.
