There are some word phrases, such as company names that I need to watch for to avoid legal issues. I'd like to suggest a "Moderation by Phrase" option! For example, if someone puts in the Phrase "MyCompanyName sucks and they should go out of business" I may want to get an e-mail for anytime "MyCompanyName" is used in a message subject or body. If this is found, the exact code of the "Report message to moderator" would be used, sending this behind the scenes to the forum moderator.

You would be the first to ever incorporate this, and would help us that have to monitor our sites closely for legal stuff.

Just another idea to help you get farther above the competition! :)

You can also add MyCompanyName to the censored words list. :)

Anyway, I once started working on a hack that sends you an e-mail / PM every time your username is mentioned.
I might start working on it again, and if it works maybe it can be made into something like "Words I'd like to be notified of" for every user. :)

No, I don't want to censor it, I just want to know when someone is using it. If they are saying "MyCompanyName is oustanding" I surely wouldn't want to remove that! It's just when they use it negatively is when the problem is there.
