SQL Server and vBulletin

We are just starting to examine some Bulletin software for our company and we already have a large MS SQL 7.0 server in house used for many things... I see your product uses a SQL database, but it looks like it is something special for Web Sites. Is there a way to get this product to tie directly to a MS SQL 7.0 server for its database??????
