Using vb 2.2.0 This has happened to me multiple times. I edit it, everything looks good, I change which template to save the changes too and once they save the template before it reverts

I don't quite understand this part...once they save the template before it revertsbut you said you 'change the template to save the changes too'. Does this mean you are editing the title of the template on the edit screen? That would not save it as the forumhome template then...

BINGO this is what I do as it saves A LOT of time and up until now has has no problems. I have done this with at least 5-10 other templates and it did not have this problem until I hit this forumhome template:D
Also, sometimes it created a duplicate forumhome template.

i'll leave it to the developers to figure out if it's a bug.. i'll move it to the bug forum for now :)

I had forgotten this was even possible...Anyway checking the code out there is no reason for it to not work. The query includes this:
templatesetid=$templatesetid
which corresponds to the drop down menu...
I have a feeling this is one of those "it hurts when i do this"..."then don't do that" type of things...

Probably, but this should be made to work as it is one of the things that makes editing all my templates that much less of a pain. I wonder if I install the mini hack that takes you back to the template editing vs. the template list after applying the changes would make a difference. But, like I said, I didn't have this problem any other time except when I edited the forumhome template. Any other time, it worked great:D

This functionality has not changed recently, but I will look at changing it in the future.

Please take note that this only occurs for me when I do it to the forumhome template
