Hi,

I am setting up a mediawiki for my forum right now, I was wondering what's best to do:

- Put the wiki on another domain
- Put the wiki on an subdomain
- Put it on domain.com/wiki

I just don't know what's best... Can you give me some advice?

Thanks :)

Put it on the same domain, whether it be folder or sub domain. No point in a second domain, and your members would actually then use it.

I suggested "wikki.@#$%.com". You could alias that into "www.#%@.com/wiki" for practical purposes, depending on how you have the rest of your site configured. Don't underestimate the flexibility of domain aliases versus subdomains.

Good luck! I'd be very interesting in seeing your results.
