I save the backups and i still have a license to the vbulletin software, so i was wondering if anyone can tell me how would i go about reuploading this forum back to the orginal website and with the moist recent backup ( i have those but its been so long i have no clue how to use them).Thank you so much for the help!

First questions, are you using a different domain name? A different server, or did you keep the same one going? This matters because if you are changes have to be made to your database.sql file and config.php to reflect this before setting up a database in your cPanel to upload the database and forum files via FTP.
It's quite easy to do, but it's a bit long-winded to try and explain it here if you've been out the loop for a while and forgot a lot.
For example: If your using a different server host now, and it's shared host too. You database will have a different starting prefix on a shared host like "gary_database" and gary_username". Same with forum path: /home/gary/public_html/forum/
This is why database changes need to be made to reflect this in your old sql backup and you config.php file doing a (search and replace) in the database.sql that's case sensitive. Then it's just a case of creating a new database and username in cpanel with the same details, and using phpadmin to important the edited database. Upload your forums files and your done.
What matters most is, are you using the same domain name, if your not you would again have to search the old domain out in the sql backup and replace it with the new one. A lot more editing that.
