Upgrading to v.3.8

I am running version v.3.7.2.patch level 2, and my admin area tells me the latest version is 3.8.4
My membership is not active and I cannot find a way to renew it - all that is there is the v.4 suite or v.4 forum.
I am not looking to go to v4 so is there any way I can just get the 3.8 please.

You can still get the 3.8 series, but to do so, you must purchase the vB4 forums or suite. That's the only way to get it.
