Upgrading from 3.6.7 to most recent 3.6.*

I want to upgrade my board to the most recent version in the 3.6 branch. In the members area it will only let me download 3.6.8 pl2. I am currently running 3.6.7. Is there a reason I can't download 3.6.12 from the members area? Can I download the 3.6.12 pl2 from the security patch section and upgrade straight from 3.6.7 to that?

No ideas on how the upgrades work? I just need to know if I can skip all the in between ones or not... Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
