Show attached pictures even if disabled for a user group

Visitors cannot see image attachments on my forum as a way to promote forum registration.

However, I made a few sub-forums for dealers to publish news, and I would like for those forums to bypass the general status of attachments for that group (or all groups for that matter).

Would that be possible, maybe via a simple plugin?

You would have to set custom permissions for those forums:

Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions

Assuming you are talking about post attachments... you can set that group permission on a per-forum basis.
