I have been reading about the possibility of Vb4 having an easier way to enmbed youtube into forum posts....as a newcomer I would like to know what the easiest and best way is to do it at the moment.

I have read lots of conflicting posts about what works and what does not

The easiest way in vB3 is to install the AME addon (auto media embed) from www.vbulletin.org. It automatically recognizes Youtube URLs.

Thanks Jake, found it and spent like forever trying to get .org to accept me as a viable licence holder Now I have it downloaded

Anyway, can you or anyone else please point me to a blow by blow post that gives simple to understand installation instructions. Too many posts assume massive experience or knowledge and I am just beginning with vB .

You need to post on www.vbulletin.org for help installing third party addons. We don't officially support AME or other addons from www.vbulletin.org.
